MAROON TANKMEN TO SWIM LEHIGH| Meet Tomorrow to be Heldat 3 O’clock in Memorial GymnasiumOpposing a powerful and veteran team from Lehigh university. I-afayette's swimming team will open its season tomorrow afternoon in the home gymnasium pool at 3 o’clock.The Brown and White representatives will bring to Lafayette n squad whose personnel is much the same as it was Inst year, when Lehigh defeated Lafayette by ii wide margin.Coach Mike Miller has been getting his proteges into shape for the past few weeks and has made probable selections of his men for the various events. Seven of the Maroon nntatora who will participate in the meet remnin from last year’s team, so that Lafayette will send pretty much of a veteran squnil against the visitors. Four others are newcomers on the team.The seven veterans from last season are Captain Albert S. Read-inger, '30. James P. Manly. ’31. Clifford C. Beebe. ’30. Richard A. llartje. ’30. Alfred W. Johnes. ’30, Ross E. Pollock. Jr., ’30, and Almon E. Fuller. '30. The four new members of the team are John L. Ahbe. ’32. Clifford P. Phoebus. '32. EL Raymond Woodfln, ’31, and John H. Ervin. Jr.. ’31.Coach Miller expects to enter the Lafayette swimmers in the different events as follows: (living, Captain Rendinger and Manly; 200-yard relay. Krvin, Hartje, Ahbe. and either Johnes or Woodfin; 200-yard breaststroke, Phoebus and Pollock; 150-yard backstroke. Beebe and Woodfin: 50-yard freestyle. Abbe and either Johnes or Hartje: 100-ynrd freestyle. Ervin, and either Ahbe of Hartje; 400-ynrd freestyle, Fuller and Phoebus. »
