Girls Net Only One DecisionEdwardsville No. 2, captained by Marcia Seybert, scored the only Tiger victory Saturday as Edwardsville High School girls began interscholastic athletic competition in volley ball at Wood River.It was a quadrangular meet involving Triad and Roxana.Edwardsville beat the No, 2 Triad squad two games to one. Earlier in the competition it bad lost to Wood River, 1-2 and Roxana, €-2.Tbe No. 1 team, captained by Beet Short, dropped all o£ its matches. It lost to Triad, 1*2, was shut out by Wood River, 0*2 and fell to Roxana, 1*2.Coach Kay Hyten said that Marcia Seybert was tbe high individual scorer for Edwards-ville.
