Several, drivers have closed in on that mark, but none have managed to catch Denman, the defending champion in the Thunder Btev 250. . .The new No. -2 qualifier is Gerry Wagar of Petoskey, who covered thecourse in 74.187 m.p.h. Tuesday: There was also anew No.: 3 rdcer, Richard Trudd of ‘Essexville (73.090).
