The Patoka Warriors got beat by Louisville 60 to 57 in a game that wasn’t cloce until the final minutes. At halftime the score was 24 to 29. Patoka tailed as much as 14 points at one time. Scorers as follows: Larry Thompson 21, Harlan Gerrish 11, Carl Jolliff 13, Steve Jenkins 1, Luke Walker 5, Jim Padberg 4, and Doug Ballance 2.Patoka played Okawville at home and won 91 to 65. The Warriors shot a tremendous 61 % overall. Patoka had a balanced attack as Luke Walker and Larry Thompson led the attack with 24 points each. Patoka led 52 to 26 at half time. Scorers as follows; Thompson 24, Gerrish 7, Jolliff 21, Walker 21, Padberg 11 and Hal-brook 4.The Warriors then journeyed to Farina w.here they won 71 to 61. The game was rough with a total of 62 fouls called in the contest. Carl Jolliff was high seor-26 and at the end of the Patoka was ahead 62 to 57. Scorers: Thompson 15, Jolliff 20, Padberg 16, Walker 7, Gerrish 4.Wesclin Tournament at New Baden:Patoka played Mascoutah the first night and was overwhelmedby the substituting of Mascoutah 91 to 71.
