Second Skate Derby Staged SuccessfullyBefore a crowd of 5,000 skating fans who lined the race course on the Washington Park lagoon, the second annual ice skating derby of the Wood-lawn Business Men's association was successfully staged last Saturday af-I temoon.First honors In the team competition went to the Opal A. A., whose racers scored their fourth straight derby win this season bV piling up 150 points in the final standings.The Barrett A. C. finished second, with 320, while third place went to the Northwest S. C., with a total of 100 points,Lois Littlejohn, skating under the colors of the Northwest S. C., won a close race in taking first place in the class A one-half mile race for girls. Henry Nelson, Midwest A. C. star, led the field in the class A 440-yard sprint.
