Rogers, the welter-weight champion jof Sacramento. California, is in the city and if arrangements can be made with the authorities will spar six rounds with tne Montana Kid this week. The sports are working hard to get on some good bouts and there is plenty of good material in El Faso today for several bouts. Jack Stelzner is expected tonight or in the morning from Denver and will go on if permission can be obtained.Walter Lane and Jerry Hale are also ready to box six rounds and things are beginning to Iook bright for a good tournament. It has been a long time since El Paso has had any boxing matches and the sports are‘anxious to see some. It is not the intention to have any finished fights but simply several six round friendly bouts and that they would draw a crowd goes without saying.
