Trojans Win At DeRidderDERIDDER fSpi.j-The East Beauregard Trojans added the DeRidder invitational tourna- ■ ment to their growing list ot j championships nere Saturday! night with a convincing 73-49 j victory over the host Dragons.'The Singer Horne Is captured; third place on the scoring of I ; Carroll Clark Hoi and Dan 'Jackson (13) to defeat Rose-i pine, 59-34. Gary Jones had 10 for the losers.The Trojans got line scoring: performances from Keith An- drews (19) and Phil Simmons; (26) to roll over DeRidder.Scoring in the double digits for the Dragons were Stewart Martin with 12, Bryan Slaydon with 10 and Bill Hyde with 12.: The Marion Chargers captured consolation honors behind the 37- j •point scoring performance of! I Steve Hamilton, downing Fair-1, view, 67-56. Van Bushneli had 13 for Marion, while Melvin Ingalls with 34 tallies was high for Fairview.In semi-final play, the Dragons blasted the Hornets, 71-52; while the Trojans were having, a/i easy time over Rosepine, 95-!30.The Dragons had four players ■ | in the double figures led by i Stewart Martin (15), Bryan Slay-;don (14), Glen Nery (17) and .Milford Hyde (13).
