GIRLS STARTBASKETPLAYEleven Are Enrolled in First Practicer •TuesdayEleven Spencer girls opened their newly organized basketball class Tuesday night at lt;the Lincoln school gymnasium with Maurice Carver coaching them in the arts of the game. The class is to meet for games each Tuesday night at 7:30 o'clock and girls of the community interested in joining are asked to attend the next class and enroll. Twenty cents is paid by each girl for each class period to defray gymnasium rental costs.Carver is drilling his charges in basket shooting, passing and general team play. He is preparing them for their coining game as a curtain-raiser event for the Merchants next Thursday.Enrolled at the opening meeting Tuesday were Berdina Groves, Fern Boylan, Audrey Groves, Bertha Kress, Edna Strauss, Sue Foxworthy, Evelyn. Ketelsen, FayeStol-ley, Marie Helsler, Bernice Heil-stedt, and Elsie Perry.
