Kansas City, Jan. 12.—The proposition to bring off the Jeffries-Ruhiin contest in Kansas City meets with favor. The convention hall directors met in executive session to consider Mr. Brady’s proposition for a bid, and they referred the matter to John P. Loomas, manager of the hall. Sentiment among the directors favors the plan of holding the boxing match in Kansas City, and if satisfactory arrangements can be made by Manager Loomas and Mr. Brhdy they will be accepted by the directors. The hall is $25,000 in debt and strong efforts have recently been made to raise the money.
