“KID” McCOY IN THE RINGNew York, January 12.—-Thesporting fraternity of New \orkand vicinity is to have another opportunity tonight of seeingMcCoy in the ring. At the Broadway Atheletic club the victor over Peter Maher will face Joe Choyn-ski, the California heavyweight, ma 25-round bout. Choynski was originally scheduled to meet Joe Walcott, but the latter had to w*‘udraw on account of an injury to his hand, and McCoy was secured to take his place. This will be the third time Choynski and McCoy have faced each other in the ring.The first bout of 25 rounds at SanFrancisco was won by McCoy, and the second, a 6-round affair at Chicago, was decided a draw.
