Vernon and Coach Tim Johnson, rated 2nd in the State in 2A, escaped with 4 individual crowns and 163 team points, followed by Marion with 121-1/2. host Linn-Mar (99-1/21.Belle Plaine (89), C.R. LaSalle (78-1/2), Independence (67) and C.R. Regis (63).The Hawks' unbeaten defending state champs, Barry Davis and Jim Zalesky, pinned their way to crowns and the other Prairie titlist was Larry Zalesky.Davis upped his season record to 13-0 with a final-round fall over Mt.
