Pa., Jan. 8.—Frank Welch, the pugilist, ditd today from the effects of his fight at Cedar Park, Phillips burg, N, J., on New Year's eve with. Paddy Donovan. 1 Welch’s case is one oi the most remarkable on record. He had not been conscious from the time he collapsed in the ring until lie died, a period of over a week, Welch, whose real name was Frank Grabfelder, was *21 years old and lived in Phiadepiba. Warrants are out for the arrest of some thirty men connected with the fight and Donovan and several others are in jail at Belvidere, N. J.
