Eagles managed to gain an 8-5 advantage.Action in the second period was much faster as the hosting Heame team widened their lead to 20-13.The Eagles outsoored the visitors 17-12 in the third frame to take a 37-25 lead into the final stanza. A late rally by Navasota fell shoft as the Eagles held on to win.Leading Heame scoring were Andersen with 22 and Karney with 10. Williams led Navasota scorers with 14 points.The Eagle junior varsity outlasted Navasota in a defensive duel 33-29.After leading most of the game the Eagles lost the lead in the third period but came back in the fourth for the win.
