start in leagueThe Town of Pulaski Men’s Basketball League opened its 1996-97 campaign two weeks ago with 11 teams vying for the crown including perennial champion Dublin Express Stop.Dublin Express has won nine ofthe last 10 titles, including six in a row, missing only in 1991.Off to a 7-0 start this season, Express is one of just two unbeatens at the holiday break.The Jazz, led by former Blue-field Gollege standout Estel Singleton, stands 5-0.Singleton is the league’s leading scorer (33.6), and became' the player to reach 1,000 career points in the fevfest games, just over two seasons.Express Stop's second .win against Coca Cola, 120-59, madethem the league’s winningest team since records began in 1977.Express now has 161 victories (11 defeats).
