A. I, honoi roll. In running he takes first rank for doing the 70 yard dash indoors in :07 1-5 and the 125 yard dash outdoors in :1_ 2-f. In field events Loomis* efforts of :06 1-5 in an odd hurdle race of 50 yards and his :07 3-5 for the 70 yard low hurdles put him on the honorlist.Harry tloelitz won his ranking by doing a 100 yard hurdle race that was not. standard in :13. Both he and Loomis are members of the Chicago Athletic association track team which won both indoor and outdoor national championships in 1017. Loomis is now in war service.Ames Holds Two Marks.Waldo Ames tills two places on the list of best performers. One was for the 7.‘ yard low hurdles, and the other for the 75 yard high hurdles. Matt McGrath broke in by throwing the 5t pound hammer with unlimited run and follow, the mark being 4:5 feet 1 inches. Ames, like- Loomis and Goelitz, competed under Chicago A. A. colors in A. A. I', meets.Plant shares with Loomis in frequent mention, drawing four places. All are walking feats, the distances covered were 11, 12, Hi, and 11 miles. Following is the ollicial A. A.
