Ba-ivkef Ball (iaiiien.The basketball games of the championship series played In the Y. M. C. A. gymnasium last night were the best of the season. The Yellows defeated the Blues by a score of 7 to 6. The team work was excellent. Ryse played aheady game for the Blues and Reeve did the best work for the Yellows. The game between the Reds and Whites was more one-sided. Fleming was. as usual, the strong man In the game and mode six points. Earl and Hester also played good ball for the Whites. The Whites won by a score of 16 to 7.The match game between the University of Indianapolis and the Y. M. C. A. teams, whieh will be played January 22, Is attracting much attention among the basket-ball players in the gymnasium. Fleming has been selected to captain the Y. M. C. A. team and he will pick hisplayers from among the four tournament clube.
