During this thne Mr. Baumao was principal of the German Turners* school, Nos. 63, 65, 67 and 6 Merserole street, and Mrs. Alle-mego and myself were assistant teachers and bosom friends. I liras discovered that there was an intimacy . -between Mrs. Allemego and my husband about nine mouths ago, and since that time she has been doing all she could to infatuate him, and win him away from me. The only alluaiou he has ever made iu my presence m reference to his imim'icy wi:h Mrs. Allemego was a few days ago, when he told me that he bad done me a great wrong, and the one who' had made him do it would suffer iho consequences. I do not know whether he re-v Jerted to Mrs- ADemego or not. We were both doing well pecuniarily, in our teachings, and before Mr. Bauman became in* tatuated with that woman, talked of going to housekeeping. latterly uiy hucband has used uU the money I could earn as well aa his own. I know no reason why he should have committed the murder; but suppose that when ha found that th*y were about to be discharged from the school, he tried to induce her to run away with hint, and, she refusing, in his anger and disappoint -ment he shot her.
