MUARY 4 1917Advance Hands LebanonTheir First DefeatAdvance Celebrates VictoriesAdvance proved itself a star of the first magnitude in the basket ball universe last Friday night by defeating the fast Iebanon team by the score of 28 to 6. The features of the game were the air-tight guarding and accurate goal shooting of the Advance lads. Their passing was sc fast and sure that the Lebanon team was bewildered and dismayed. This is i.he worst defeat ever suffered by Lebanon in all her basket ball history. This victory is all the sweeter to us because it is Lebanon’s first defeat of the season and our only victory over them. The game that we lost to Lebanon early in the season has been sweetly avenged.Give your support to coach Meeks and his team. They have proven that they deserve it.
