A Pretty IJout.Erie. Jan. 2.—Tom Coubig of Dunkirk and Kid McPartland of New York contested for 20 rounds at the Lakeside club. Both men were in the pink of condition and weighed iu at 138 pounds. Walter Kelley of Buffalo refereed the bout. From the first tap of the bell Couhig forced matters, and during the 20 rounds it was one of the prettiest contests ever witnessed. At the finish both men were in good condition, but the referee awarded the decision to Couhig.
