This year was a historic one for the Benedictine Col lege men’s soccer program.Not only did the Ravens win another regular season 1IAAC title, they hosted a playoff game at the BC Soccer Complex.It was the first home playoff game in the Ravens’ 53-year history.BC won that match as well, and was one of hi teams to advance to Alabama.The Ravens began the season with wins in seven of their first eight matches. They finished the season 11-13 overall and 5-1-1 in the HAAC.The HAAC title was the second straight for BC.Joe Sbarro and Jade Mesias both earned NAIA All-American awards for Benedictine as well. It was the second straight All-American honor for Sbarro.Sbarro, Mesias, Jacob Fischer and Sean Latz were all first team all-conference honorees as well. Johnny Clifford made the second team. Kenneth Clarizio and Parker Melott were third team honorees.Head coach Rob Herringer was one ot three coaches to earn Coach of the Year honors in the HAAC.
