This year was a historic one for the Benedictine Col lege men’s soccer program.Not only did the Havens win another regular season HAAC title, they hosted a playoff game at the B(' Soccer Complex.It was the first home playoff game in the Ravens’ 53-year history.v vBC won that match as well, and was one of 15 teams to advance to Alabama.The Havens began the season with wins in seven of their first eight matches. They finished the season 11-1-3 overall and 5-1-1 in the HAAC.The HAAC title was the second straight for BCJoe Sbarro and Jade Mesias both earned NAIA All-American awards for Benedictine as well. It was thesecond straight All-American honor for Sbarro.Sbarro, Mesias. Jacob Fischer and Sean Latz were all first team all-conference honorees as well. Johnny Clifford made the second team. Kenneth Clarizio and Parker Melott were third team honorees.Head coach Hob Herringer wras one of three coaches to earn Coach of tin' Year honors in the i 1AAC.
