Frank Stephens, cooperative extension agent, 441 Division.The purpose of this trip iscitizenship training, and over100 delegates from more than SOcounties in New York State will attend to learn more about theorganization and function lt;4state government, Stephens said.Delegates will attend sessions of the State Legislature, learnhow law* are made, visit the alternate seat of the government, and attend a reception at the Governor’s mansion. Toursof the State Education Building, the State Office Building and the Court of Appeals are alsoscheduled.Following breakfast Tuesdaymorning, aa guests of local assemblyman and senators, thegroup will meet the Governor,and will hear a talk on citizenship by Wilbur F. Fease, assistant director of extension, at a noon luncheon.Miss Dubaime hag completedfour years as a 4-H member. She wag a member of the Tupper Lake Ridge Rider* Horse Club for two yearff and a member of the Busy Bee 4-H Club for the last tw0 years.She ha* hold many club offices, is a member of the South Franklin 4-H dub Council, and attended the New York State 4-H Recreation Training School at Wells College' in 1968.She served on the RecreationIklaLeadership Team for dub Congress in June 1968, worked ag a4-H Camp Counselor, and hi ©• ;nther county event* for recrea- v -tion. She also served in a work !tiYo«k Stale JMr im IMS.There is a growing interest [g in citizenship, leadership, and n governwent by older members, 4 Stephen* stated, and 4-H work helps promote these on the local dub level, the county, district and state basis.Ten older members appliedin I960 for this trip and submitted stories on What 49 dub Work Means Tp Me. In addition to judging the stories,the member’s leadership and ov-}all 4-H record of work was cdo-side red.Judges for this year were: John R.
