River Town Citizenry United By Cage TeamCitizens of Knights Landing to 1 he number of 300 or more came to Woodland the other night to cheer their basketball team on to victory in a friendly game with the American Legion quintet of this city. The visitors were a unit in supporting their team.Reports from the river town are that their basketball players have done more to create a better spirit of co-operation and friendliness among the people of that district than any single factor in recent years.The boys comprising the team are clean living athletes and courageous fighters. They are commanding the respect of notonly those who are best acquainted with them but all who have seen them in action or who have watched their progress on the court.The team is in many ways an asset to the entire community.•Io o o
