Among his visitors today were II. S. Seeley ami Al. Pierce, of Worcester, Mass. Both thought well of Maher, but after their trip to Bay St. Louis, concluded that Fitzsimmons was the better man of the two and will put their money on the latter. Fitzsimmons has given up most of his hard work and will confine himself to walking until Monday, when he will limber up for the last time prior to the fight. He left Bay St. Louis today for New Orleans. He is in the best possible condition, and expects to enter the ring at 170 pounds. It is expected that Chovnski will face Frank Slavin, and Felix Vaqualin will meet Mitchell in their four-round bouts previous to the big light between Maher- and Fitz-simmous.Fit and Confident.Atlanta.
