Kay Steele 2nd In Sectional Free Throw Contest Last WeekKay Steele, AHS basketball player, won second place in the sectional free throw contest at Orient-Macksburg, Thursday, Feb. 20.In the first round, Kay tied with two other girls for second place, as they made 21 of 25 free throws. In the shoot-off, Kay made 9 of 10, for 2nd.Mary Neil from Bedford won the contest by shooting 24 out of 2-5.Kay received a trophy for runner-up in the sectional and she was one of six to advance to the district contest.
