His Manager Gets an Offer of a Match From a Cincinnati Club.John llertz. manager of Benny Yanger. last night received a telegram from Frank Kelly, manager of the Stag Athletic club of Cincinnati, in which he asks -Hertz what are the best possible weight terms on which Yanger will box McGovern, adding that be can make a good offer for such a contest. Hfertz replied at once that Yanger won Id make 122 at the ringside or at 3 o’clock or 120 pounds at the ringsixle.It is not known if the matching Tuesday of McGovern and Corbett in Cincinnati will make any difference with the Yanger offer or not. There is nothing in the articles about -either man not fighting before the match takes place.
