THE REVIEW Tuesday, February 26, 2008 11Atoms in actionRoblin’s Atom Stars found themselves trailing 3-0 after the first period but came back with six unanswered goals - including this one by #25 Riley Tyschinski - to defeat Minitonas 7-4 in the opening game of their seven team tournament held Feb. 16 and 17. The Atoms defeated Yorkton 1-0 in a real nail-biter to win the B side while Russell captured the A side with a win over Ste. Rose. Teams from Kamsack and Melville also took part. The Atoms are Layne Anhalt, Sawyer Chase, Zach Matsyk, Kennedy Brook, Josh Dube, Kyle Cherneski, Rayne Nykyforak, Riley Tyschinski, Linden McKinney, Kennedy Johnston and Ari Paul. They are coached by Lloyd McKinney, Craig Nykyforak and Bob Tyschinski.Pee Wees coming to townThe Town of Roblin will be graced with the presence of the top six Pee Wee hockey teams in the province the weekend of March 1-9. The Roblin team is hosting the Rural A event and starts the draw off on Saturday at 9 a.m. against Neepawa.
