In speaking of the McGoveru-SulIi-van fight at Louisville Chas. Kelly, of this city, who in company with J. M. Ober, Lewis and Irvin Whitehead were at the ringside, says: “It was a royal battle from start to finish and you can rest easy that there were few boys from Indiana and Ohio, who lost any money on the outcome. There was excitement from the Btart, but when ‘Terrible Terry’ put the Oorkonian through the ropes pandemonium reigned. It was a battle in which endurance played a star part. One round would be in McGovern’s favor and the next in Sullivan’s. The majority was well satisfied. ’
