Wrestler Arrested After Hurling The Referee From Ring i!BOSTON. Feb. 25.—(INS)—Jack Washburn, Los Angeles wrestler, was arrested today after he was alleged to have hurled referee Bert Potts, of Philadelphia, from the ring at Boston garden to the cement floor, knocking him unconscious.Potts was found to be suffering from contusions of the spine andWashburn was booked on a charge of assault and battery. He was held under bail of $10,000. The assault occurred in a bout between Washburn and Jack §mith, of Chicago.The bout was a preliminary to the Strangler Lewis-Ray Steele match which ended in a draw.
