Girls Varsity Wins VB Trophy'Hie Yoe High School Girls Varsity volley ball team entered a tournament at Mary Hardin - Baylor gym at Bel-ton on Friday and Saturday, bringing home 3rd place honors and the first such trophy for Yoe High.They defeated Caldwell on Friday by 15-14 and 15-10 On Saturday they played Buckholts three games los ing the first 14-16 and winning the next two. 15-9 and 15-11.Then they met a strong team from Belton who defeated them In two games, 15-13 and 15-11. After being downed by Belton they met Rosebud for 3rd and 4th place and downed Rosebud In two games. 17-15 and 15-3Rosemary Elckenhorst brought home an all-tournament team trophy.There were 24 teams entered and the winners were Georgetown first, Belton second.
