Denver is now affiliated with the strong Milwaukee Braves and the competition should be keen.San Diego, the AAA club _ of Cincinnati, is the defending Pacific Coast League champions, while Little Rock is now the Philadelphia Phillies top farm club.Interest eould reach a peak in the Grapefruit League when the Chiefs tangle with Buffalo who will have a blend of 1962 Chiefs with many returning veteran players.Bob Swift’s rival managers in; the exhibition games will be Kerby Farrell with Buffalo, Frank Lue-ehesi with Little Rock, Don Heffner with San Diego and Jack Tiche with Denver.Trips will be short. The games with Denver at Bartow are only 14 miles from Lakeland, with San Diego at Tampa only 33 miles, with Little Rock at Dade Cl tv only 28 miles and with Buffalo at Dunedin 60 miles.
