•IFlying Eagles Seek Central TitlesFlying Eagles Junior skiers, who have gained 51 places out of 59 appearances in meets this year, will make a strong bid for honors in the Central U. S. Junior Ski Association championships at Wausau Sunday.The nine boys are Jimmy Ellingson in Senior Class, Dale Severson and Jerry Heiman in Class A, Ted Lanner and Har-ivey Hams in Class B, Tom Weber and Ted Severson in Class C, and Larry Bergh and Rocky Schulte in Class D.In seven meets the Flying Eagles scored 21 firsts, 14 seconds, six thirds, six fourths, three sixths, and one seventh place.Class D competition at Wausau will be on a hill about the size of the Fourth Ward slide, where Jumps of 50 feet can be made. The other four classes will ski on a hill comparable in size to Mt.
