JOHNNY SUMMERS DEFEATS JIMMY BRITT AT LONDONLondon Feb. it.—Johnny Summer.*, the English pugilist, tonight received the decision over J.immy Britt of California in a 20-round bout. The fight was held before the National Sporting'01Up to the sixth or eighth round. Britt had the better of the bout, but from that on Summers improved and honors were even at the close of the 10th. After that although Britt was always strong, the Englishman had somewhat the best of him and the decision in Summers'* favor waa a popular one. Before leaving the ring Britt said that he accepted the award of the referee and had no cnnfpl.llnt to make, but he still thought he was the betterman.
