After diligent Search, nothing Offenfive could be found in the Houfe except an old rufty Rapier, whereupon they agreed each to make three Paffadoes by Turns, one at the other, and he that had not the Rapier was to parry, and ftand on the Defective againft the Efforts of his Antagonift with an old Poker ; but the Mafter of the Houfe fearing that one of thefe celebrated Artifts might be flain, propofed a boxing Match, which they foon agreed to, when afier a few Bouts Viftory declared ic-felf on the Side of Patriotifm.
