Lakin High’s Kiri hurdler, has won more track and field honors.She competes for the Cosmo Club of Topeka.Saturday night she took part in the annual Mason-Dixon Games at Louisville, Ky., before a huee throng of 14,000 fans. She placed third in the 70-vard hurdles.*«■She losl a judges’ decision for second place to three-year . veteran Beth Hudson of the Ohio Track Club. Both were credited with times of 95 seconds in the finals.Winner of the event was i Lottie Thomas of Tennessee State, clocked in 9.3 seconds.Diane won her preliminaryheat in 9.5 seconds, edging Jovci Davis olt; Frederick, Md.In the 440-yard relay event, Diane ran the third leg for the Topeka Cosmos. The Cosmos i finished fourth in 50.2 seconds, a new indoor record for the■ Co^mjs in that event.Winner of the 440-yard relay was the Detroit Track Club, which upset Tennessee State, anchored by TT.S Olympic champion Wyomia Tyus. OhioTrack Ckb took third place in♦he event.
