Rep, Sol Bloom of New York, who has said he couldn’t do it, sent congratulations to Johnson, The tihrow was made before a large audience near Fredericksburg, Va., on the birthday of George Washington, at the point where Washington was said to have made such a throw. The river at that point was 372 feet wide.Mrs. E. J. Price of Princeton fell and fractured her hip.
