■TELEGRAMMONDAY, FEB. 21, 1983beiRLIHudsonskatersadvanceEau Claire Memorial, Rice Lake and Hudson posted WIAA hockey tournament wins Saturday while Chippewa Falls McDonell and Altoona closed out the Northwest Hockey Conference slate.Memorial’s Old Abes ended Menomonie’s season with an 11-0 romp. Rice Lake stopped Hayward 4-0, Hudson clipped New Richmond 4-2, and McDonell beat Altoona, 6*1.The Abes, 14-5 on the season, scored 29 seconds into the game and they were on their way.
