Jones to Coach LincolnJEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) —Cal G. Jones, defensive line coach atthe University of Minnesota the pastfour years, was named Thursday ashead football coach at Lincoln University.He succeeds Curt Gentry, who wasrelieved of his duties at the end of the past season.Jones, a native of Pittsburgh, also has held assistant coaching jobs at Southern University, Florida State and Western Illinois.
