TWENTY-EIGHT of the finest midget hockey players in the city will battle in their league's first annual All-Star contest Monday night as a part of the circuit's Jack Frost Jamboree at the Olympic rink. Players representing the 16 teams in the league will carry the prestige of their divisions into the battle. The “A” division's squad, which will be managed by Joe Mathewson and Les Russell, is favored to win over the “B” groupers. Lionel Wright, whose goaltending has featured the season's play of a lowly Fort Garry outfit, will guard the “A” team’s net. Glen Harmon and Walter Koster, Bisons, will alternate with Hugh Parker, St. Vital, and Ab Peterson, Excel ssors, on defence. Parker and Peterson are rated two of the best “defensive” defencemen in the circuit, Art Kendall and George Ballance, Bisons’ high-scoring wings, will flank St. Vital's clever playmaker, Jim Kennedy, on one attacking line. Bill Mosienko and Ernie Dickens, Sherburn's goal getting partnership, will team up with Roy Allen, Excelsiors’ crafty left winger, on another string. Alan McCririck, Panthers; Percy Macklem, Montcalm, and Tom Wickens, Westons, constitute the third line. The “B division outfit, managed by Jack Bourke, carries plenty of power. George Kovac, St. Boniface’s classy young netman, is the goalkeeping choice. Earl Storey, Elmwood; Jack McDonald, St. John's; Ed LeClair, St. Boni face, and Carl Hijorkesson, St Paul's, will alternate on a strong defence. Stonewall is represented by high-scoring Hugh Mil ler and Lou Medynski. Ted Tin dall, Elmwood's prolific scorer; Tommy Bredin and Davie Scho field, St. John’s; John Sigurdson, Black Stars; Jack Hobson, St. James; Charlie Gardiner, Falcons, and Lucien Chenier, St. Boniface, are the remaining forwards. A splendid supporting program of fancy skating, inter-team re lays, goalkeepers’ race and public skating, has been arranged. Play ers of the all-star teams and those in the relays are asked to be on hand at the Olympic rink early. The program opens at 8 p.m
