Would be Good Match.| There is talk of a match between I George Garuner, who recently put it I all over Kid” Carter in Chicago, and Philadelphia Jack” O’Brien, who soundly mrashed A1 Weinig at Fort Erie. This would be a bout worth a long journey to witness. O’Brien de-I sires to slate that he is not afraid to meet Gardner, but as the latter has a big advantage over him in wTeight Gardner will have to do 158 pounds to get on the match. O’Brien says he can do 154 pounds and sees no reason why he should endanger his reputation by taking on a man of Garner’s weight and ability to catch weights. His experience with Marvin Hart has taught him to fight shy of men out- of his class.
