Raptis and Nicholson were presented their third letter during a special assembly at Cambridge High School during which 25 football players were given 1970 grid letters and 16 youths were honored in the athletic department’s Mad Dog Club.Presentations were made by Coach Joe Paul in the 9 a m. assembly with letters and (trophies being dolled out to players and five cheerleaders awarded bars for service to the school.The lettermen include nine seniors, 14 juniors and two sophomore footballers. Of this number, there were two three-year letter awards; nine two-year awards and 13 first year awards.Crawford joined Tom HollinsLilienthal, Roger McManus, Milligan, Nicholson, Oaster, Larry Raptis, Bob Salmans and Lanny Six.Super Mad Dog” awards went to Crawford, Harris and Hollins for their “double point” total. Crawford scored 165, five points higher than Hollins, to top the list.Cheerleaders who were honored included Pam Donley, two year bar; Connie Casner, Nancy Thom.
