The game was close from tart to finish, first one team and then^ he other was ahead. Marshall happened to be ahead when the geme r ended. The ‘score does by no me:rnr tell the story of the game. When the first quarter ended the Weaver jj'ville boys were in the lead 4-2, In the second quarter Marshall came from behind and tied the score at6 alt. First half ended with the it /score tied. In the third quarter Marshall played ahead 14-12. The final 1 Quarter was the most exciting of all. The two teams battled fiercely for the- lead .With only about one minute to play, a foul was made on White, Marshall forward. White caged his two free idiots, winning the game. There were practically no individual stars in the game. Pickens, of the losing team, was high scorer, caging 4 goals from the floor.
