1955 Manitou Senior TeamThis photo of the 1955 Manitou Senior Hockey team was sent to Walter Mueller by Rick Brownlee, Manager of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. Rick’s mother, Betty Reese, taught in Manitou in the mid 1950’s. She married Ian Brownlee, a member of the RCMP who was stationed in Manitou while she was here. Rick’s sister was scanning their mother’s pictures and sent this one to Rick who sent it on to Walter (a former student of hers). Rick’s dad is in the back row of the photo. Walter and Lew Mueller are the only members of the team still living in Manitou. Anyone interested in the photo, might contact Walter Mueller.
