Free Throw Winners Are Announced HereWinners have been announced in the Emporia Recreation Commission flee throw contest held Feb. 7th and 14th. The Emporia scores will be matched with other scores in Kansas and state-wide winners will be announced at a later date. All contestants shot 50 free throws.The winners of the Emporia contest are as follows:Girls 10 and under—-1. Traeee Banks. 16 made; 2. Sandy McEl-fresh, 10 made; 3. {tie) Maria Ramirez and Brenda McEl-fresh, one made.Boys 10 and under— 1. Mickel Williams, 18 made; 2. Bill White, 15 made; 3. James Curry, 14 made.Girls 11 and 12 — 1. Tina Stauffer, 23 made; 2. Sara Hutcherson, 14 made; 3. Clmstine Hath-way, three made.Boys 11 and 12— 1. Phil Smith, 43 made; 2. Mike Beran, 38 made; 3. (tie) James Stone and Charles Bartlett, 34 made.Girls 13 and 14— 1. Stephanie Carter, 20 made; 2. Paula Stone, 13 made; 3. (tie) Carrie Milles and Mary Chambers, nine made.Boys 13 arid 14 — 1.
