Teuton Bantam AB Team Advance In Prov. PlaydownsAt Teulon, Friday, February 6, the Bantams downed Riverton 11—2. Scoring in the first period for Teulon were, David Crawford, Irwin Cheyne, and Greg Tretiak, with Ken Helga-son replying for Riverton.Crawford turned it on in the second period, by scoring three goals, and singles went to Blair Tamblyn. Riverton’s lone goalcame from Johnny Wish now* ski.The third period again saw Crawford pick up a goal, while Tretiak, Bruce Frost and Richard Campbell rounded out the score, David Crawford netted five goals during the game.The return match, at Riverton, went much the same way, with the Teulon boys going strong in the first period for six goals. David Crawford, with two, and singles went to Raymond Renooy, Stewart Campbell, Bruce Frost and Blair Tambtyn.David Crawford and Gary Burton scored singles in the second, to take an 8—0 lead.In the third period, Blair Tamblyn scored three, with singles going to Crawford and Burton, while Bob Gislasson scored for Riverton, and with less than a minute to go, John Wishnowski scored on a penalty shot.Teulon now plays Pine Falls in the next series.Come out and see for yourself some real good hockey played by these boys.See you at the next came.
