A. are capable of giving an interesting and satisfactory entertainment, exclusive of any outside assistance, was fully demonstrated at the Casino on Monday night The crowd which assembled was not large but it was enthusiastic and intensely interested. Everything on the long program was well carried out. There was high bar and parallel bar work by the seniors, the middlers showed their skill on the horse and the juniors went through marches and drills with great precision.Some of the exercises much enjoyed were the fencing tilt between William Newman and Carl Reynolds, the club swinging by Marion Rich and the high dive of 4 feet, 10 inches in which excellent work was done by Ralph Simonds, Physical director Smith, Arthur E, Pray and Fred W. Sawyer were greatly applauded for their work and much amusement was caused by blind man’s *‘biff,’ which was a boxing match between two of the juniors. The juniors also covered themselves with glory in the dumb belland hoop drill.Among the features of the evening wasthe work by Ralph Slmonds on the highbar and also in tumbling. His work wasloudly applauded. Excellent work wasalso done by Wakefield, McLean, Sum-insby, Whitmore and others.
