Feb. 17.—In a fight between Jack Moffatt and Billy Stift tonight, Stift was given the decision. Moffatt wore an elastic band on the left shoulder. which had been twice before dislo-coated on a similar occasion. In the I first and’ second rounds Moffatt had everything his own way, but in the third, when attempting to land a knockout, the blow landed on the head instead of the jaw. Instantly Moffatt’s left arm dropped limp to his 'side. The referee stopped the fight, and Stift was awarded the decision.‘•Kid Goodman of Boston and A1 Fellows of Chicago fought six fast rounds to a draw.
