Quilt/, of Ottawa, president of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association, has not yet made an official announcemment as to the venue of the Allan Cup final* this season, it can be taken for granted that they will be played in Winnipeg during the latter part of next month, according to the best information in amateur hockey circles here today.There was some discussion at the last annual meeting of the C.A.H.A., held .here in Toronto last March, over having the amateur finals in the east, when those for the Stanley Cup wede held in the west and vice versa, but it was finally decided to leave the question over to an executive moeting, which wae to been held last fall.But this meeting did not materialixe, and in view of that, the feeling of the majority of the C. A. H. A. executive is said to be that they should be played in the west this ye»r, as they took place in the east in 1924.
