MOTORCYCLE RACES ON A FLAT INDOOR FLOOR WILL• Motorcycle races on a flat Indoor track will be the next feature of Tacoma’s winter sport world. The races will begin February23 at Glide rink. The fact that the races will be held on a perfectly flat, slippery floor, slightly more than a half half block long, by 65 feet wide, will add a sensational touch to the contests.Billy Brokaw and Tom Paulson will do the racing. Paulson rides a Thor and Brokaw a Vale. Both are Tacoma boys. There will be three nights of racing—Feb, 28, 25 and 27. TenSPORT STUNTmiles, or a little more, will be run each night. If the same racer wins the first two nights, there will be no third contest. iThe course measures 17 laps to the mile, for the sake of making i the timing easier, 20 laps will be considered a mile, and each motorcyclist will have to run 200 laps each night. The best time made thus far is 20 laps in 3 minutes, flat. This time will be clipped, after the racers get accustomed to the short course. Rum Hall is managing the races. Holler skating races will follow the motorcycle contests each evening.“GREATEST HORSE RAlt;SAW” DESCRIBED BY F
