Card wrestlershost tourneyHAMILTON, III - TheHamilton Cardinals will host the nine-team Class A district wrestling meet Friday and Saturday with Cardinal coach Bob Hanks picking Quincy Notre Dame as the favorites to win the title over his injury ridden Cards who are the defending champions.The Cards tuned up for the meet by dropping a 34-16 decision to the Ft. Madison junior varsityteam Tuesday.Notre' Dame closed its dual season with a 56-3 win over Carrollton and a 28-25 victory over Camp Point Central in a triangular last weekend.Hanks feels that the field is well balanced with every school having an opportunity to advance wrestlers to the sectional tournamentOther teams in the field are Carthage, Nauvoo-Colusa.
